You, my delightful new garden friend, are exactly right. *sigh* I'm glad I found your blog and your post today. The piggy picture is fantastic too by the way. I just want to kiss his nose and I have honestly NEVER felt that way about a pig. :)

Well I jokingly named all 25 male chicks "Pecker", but even still I have no problem naming a food animal. I bond with every animal I own regardless of their purpose in my life, and that goes even more so for animals whose purpose is to feed me. I'm not like most people who might become so attached that slaughter will be an issue. If anything I am happier this way because I know without a doubt that my poultry had the best possible life from the day they were born until they come to my plate.

Well he may as well be my dog, he lives here. It's frustrating beyond belief as he is the sweetest dog in the world.

I first heard about growing inverted plants a few years back - a couple of years before the Topsy Turvy craze started. The method of choice at the time was using 5 gallon buckets and I have to say that in my experience they work better than the commercially available Topsy Turvy product.

Glad you enjoyed the article, Nancy.

Make your own rules, follow some and disregard the others. Play when you want to--not just because there's a play date. Thanks for being a Garden Rockstar--we need more of you.
